It gives me immense pleasure to know that the Wu-Shu Kung-Fu Federation of India is going to host its 14th National Wushu KungFu Festival & Team Trials in Ahmedabad on November 22–23, 2014 in association with World Traditional Kung-Fu Federation & International Wushu Sanda Federation.

Nowadays, the popularity of Wushu KungFu Martial Arts has been spread throughout the world. This kind of promotional activities in India would definitely provide a platform to athletic martial artists for getting the right destination and upgrade their knowledge area as well as technical support.

Keeping in view the above, I am very much sure and confident that the Wu-Shu Kung-Fu Federation of India is a right platform for those who want to achieve their goal. This Federation and its organizing committee always put their best efforts to organize Wushu KungFu events for people's health and happiness.

From the core of my heart, I sincerely wish you all the best.

The necessity of protecting self has led to the invention of Martial arts. The Kung-fu is one of the popular art form believed to be practiced by Buddh Monks for self defense. The unique feature of this art form is the moral binding of applying it strictly as a self defense Mechanism and not the other way.

The endeavor of WU-SHU-KUNG-FU FEDERATION OF INDIA of promoting the shooting martial arts through co-ordination of Wu-Shu Kung-Fu competitions and activities across the country deserves sincere appreciation. These activities have the long term implications of the happiness through health, which deserve to be admired.

I extend my congratulation to WU-SHU KUNG- FU FEDERATION OF INDIA for its efforts for promoting Martial Arts and my best wishes for all the success.

India, being a land of cultural diversities, is also a hub that inherits ancient traditional games, which are now getting extinct and need to be preserved.

It gives me immense pleasure to know that the Wu-Shu Kung-Fu Federation of India is to host the 13th National Wushu KungFu Festival and Championships at Ahmedabad from 19th October 2013.

My warm wishes to all the participants, the organizers, and for the souvenir being published on the event.

India is passing through a tremendous phase in the field of sports. Our sportsmen have constantly brought glory to our nation in the past few years. One of the emerging sport which has gained popularity lately is Wushu. In spite of it being a Chinese martial art it has also become very popular throughout India. It is basically a self defense art and has been promoted in many schools and colleges. It involves coordination with every movement of the body. Wushu is an art which fulfills all the disciplines of fighting.

Wushu is one of the disciplines of the Asian Games and is expected to be a part of the Olympics very soon. I am very proud of Wushu Kungfu Federation of India as they have their branches in over many states and they organize the national championships every year for juniors and seniors with full capacity crowd.

Wushu Kungfu Federation of India has been organizing various events to popularize the game in the country. It provides an opportunity to all the students to hold the proud flag of our nation by representing India at international level. It has also a long list of achievements and its participants have won many medals nationally as well as internationally.

I feel proud to be associated with it. I wish them all success in this effort or rising the name of our nation in the sports history.
